Sunflower oil

Ukraine is the 2nd largest sunflower oil producer in the world with a 35% share of total supply to international market. The vegetable oil industry in Ukraine is a powerful agro-industrial complex uniting farmers and oilseed crushing plants. Sunflower is widely cultivated in Ukraine. Farmers continuously expand areas of sunflower cultivation to facilitate growing domestic demand for seeds for crushing. As a result, Ukraine became the third biggest producer after Russia and Argentina by the volume of harvested sunflower seeds.

Sunflower makes up more than 90% in the total volume of oleaginous products harvested in Ukraine and no less than 10% of the total crop area. Sunflower seed harvest reached a record high of 6 mln tons in 2008.

Unrefined sunflower oil is a natural product, it keeps all natural components necessary for human’s body, such as vitamins A, D, E, tocopherols and other bioactive substances. That’s why it may and must be used in crude state. It is better to add unrefined sunflower oil to salads, cooked, stewed or boiled food. Nevertheless, it is not recommended to fry on crude sunflower oil, because, due to high temperature, hazardous compounds may form. It is better to use refined deodorized sunflower oil for these purposes, which passed additional processing. Such oil has no taste and smell, it is does not burn and splash.

Our production is notable for high quality that is repeatedly proved by our consumers and meets all the standard demands of inspection authorities.

Sunflower cake

As the by-product of sunflower processing, we offer to our consumers sunflower cake, which is a valuable feedstuff and is widely used in livestock breeding. The cake can be used as the additive to combined feed or directly to cattle feed. The cake is suitable for feeding all kinds of cattle, and especially for youngs. Vitamins and phospholipids contained in cake promote quick forming of new cells and youngs grow faster.

Sunflower cake is valuable for its nutritional property and protein content. Our cake has about 35% of protein. While processing the sunflower, we hull the seeds, that’s why the cellulose content is most optimal and is 15-18 %.
